This established development & project management consultancy partners with clients in the hospitality/pubs/ hotel/ clubs, residential, industrial, and government sectors. Lead refurbishments and upgrade projects valued in the $0.5 million to $5 million range through planning and delivery for a hospitality client on a long-term capital works program.

What you'll do:

Working with a Director and key client representatives, you will identify business needs in relation to programs of building refurbishment and upgrade works. Most of the projects are in Brisbane, and there may be travel.
  • develop project scope, timelines and deliverables
  • engage and negotiate contracts with project consultants/ contractors and ensure delivery against the scope
  • Report on project performance, identify and evaluate any areas of risk associated with the building projects
  • build and manage relationships with key stakeholders on the project
What you'll need:
  • Proven experience managing building or refurbishment projects with at least a couple of years in a client-side role for a consultancy or owner/ operator.
  • Hospitality or retail experience preferred, although not essential
  • A good communicator is essential when working with the client and contractors on the projects
  • Able to prioritise your time working across 3-5 projects concurrently and be self-managed and accountable to schedules and deadlines
