This established mid-tier maintenance services group in Sydney provides maintenance and minor works services to government and private clients. They have ongoing contracts to provide maintenance for clients in the education, housing, local authority, and commercial sectors.
What you'll do:
Working with the General Manager, you'll lead client engagement and business development, identifying new opportunities and turning them into commercial wins. You'll design go-to-market strategies, develop tailored proposals and tender submissions, giving you end-to-end exposure to the sales cycle.
Negotiating contracts will sharpen your deal-making skills, while managing performance metrics will give you insight into how value is delivered and measured. You'll build long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying new services to offer.
Attending industry events and representing the business will expand your network and raise your profile, while collaborating on strategic messaging and digital marketing will give you a say in how the brand is positioned.
What you'll need
- Proven experience in client engagement and/ or business development in the Construction, Facilities Management, or Services Sector
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also collaborating with a wider team
The role offers the diversity of managing key accounts, new business proposals/submissions, while giving you the space to influence strategy.
