A leading Global Data Centre Provider is looking to employ a Health, Safety & Environment Manager (HSE Manager) to manage Safety Operations for a Data Centre Facility in Western Sydney, initially on a part-time basis for 3 days a week.
They are going through their next phase of growth and require an experienced HSE professional to ensure the Health, Safety, and well-being of all those involved in the day-to-day operations of the Data Centre and the Construction/ Fit-out projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the Health & Safety performance of contractors supporting the delivery of WHSE compliance for the business.

The role will initially start on a 3 days a week part-time basis based on the Data Centre in Western Sydney, with potential to develop into a more full-time opportunity if desirable.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with Operations/ Engineering and Project teams, clients, and subcontractors to drive initiatives, mitigate risks, and enhance safety performance
- Oversee the safety performance of general contractors
- Provide high-level advice and support on all WHS matters to the Senior Management team
- Maintenance of the WHS and Environmental Integrated management system to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Lead investigations for both Safety and Environmental incidents
- Analyse high-risk activities
- Support Safety Meetings
- Align the Health, Safety Management System to the ISO standard
- Conduct regular audits to ensure processes, systems, clients, and contractors comply with relevant legislation and company policies and procedures
- This role would suit someone with 5 years + experience in WHS for facilities operations or the construction/fit-out sectors
- You will have strong communication skills to work with Trade Staff, Supervisors, Clients, and Senior Management
- High-level reporting to Operational Management and clients.
- Strong knowledge of WHSE standards and legislation.
- Recognised qualifications in Health & Safety, Degree, Cert IV, Diploma in OH&S or higher
